Public Relations Account Coordinator - Tampa

Role:

A public relations professional is needed to support account teams working with some of Florida's largest and fastest growing companies. The job requires someone willing to work in a fast-paced environment while advising clients on sophisticated communications challenges. Position requires research, analysis, relationship building and national/international media relations. 

Qualifications:  

• Minimum 2 years of public relations experience

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, political science, economics from a top university

• Must have held a position within a well-respected PR firm or a corporate communications department working with multiple clients

• Performance-based track record

• Must be ambitious, self-motivated and entrepreneurial  

• Strategic and creative thinking

• Excellent writing skills

• Extensive relationships with national and Florida media

• Must have an understanding of public relations best practices

• Knowledge of politics and the political environment in Florida and Tampa Bay

• Strong people and relationship-building skills

• Knowledge of and commitment to Florida
